Self-Defense is Common Sense

Self-Defense is Common Sense
by Michael Pelletier

I attended a Mike Honda campaign stop disguised as a "gun legislation" press conference, featuring House Minority Leader Dick Gephardt, local politicians, and a representative from the MMM.

One thing that struck me during the anti-gun speeches by Gephardt and his entourage of politicians and sychopahnts was the fact that their anti-gun rhetoric has shifted.

Instead of using the term "gun control" -- a term which has been successfully discredited by groups like Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership and their book "Gun Control: Gateway to Tyranny," and slogans like "Gun Control means People Control" or "Gun Control means hitting what you aim for" -- the gun grabbers have switched to endless repetition of the phrases "gun safety" and "common sense."

We need to do the same thing to "gun safety" and "common sense" that we did to the term "gun control." Whoever controls the definitions of words controls the terms of the debate, and we need to take back that control.

To this end, I've prepared a batch of bumper stickers, viewable at http://www.firearmsfreedom.net/bumpersticker/

Next to a picture of a revolver, it says "SELF DEFENSE IS COMMON SENSE".

I'm offering these stickers postage paid for $2.00 each up to 20, and $1.50 each for quantities of 20 or more. All proceeds will be donated to organizations which are fighting to protect our firearms freedom.

Go to the website above for details. I would LOVE to see this sticker appear on every taxicab in New York City, for example. To order your own batch of 250 or more stickers, go to http://www.printingprices.com/
