HB 2172 would override existing regulations which now keep all weapons off campus. Instead, people would be allowed to have "non-lethal' forms of self-defense.

South Carolina senators will talk about a bill that would loosen the requirements for carrying a gun. That bill did not move last year, but it may this year. It was first introduced to the Senate last February and would allow South Carolinians to carry a firearm without a permit. Right now, if you wanted to legally carry a gun, you would have to sit for about an eight-hour class and go through hands-on exercises. But if the bill, which permits “constitutional carry” moves forward, you could basically walk out of a gun shop without any training.

The battles for these United States are all around us. The Republicans are losing because they have not begun to fight. When Democrats are elected, then the media and bureaucrats tell us we should follow the decisions of our elected leaders. When Republicans are elected, then the media and bureaucrats say that the office holders are illegitimate.
Democrats are out for power while the Republicans are hoping for approval.
It is time to fight back. |

While political drama is playing out over the possible release of the controversial “FISA memo” that many conservatives suspect may reveal government surveillance abuses, President Donald Trump may be laying the foundation for his “greatest legacy” – reshaping the federal courts – according to CBN News.
It has been accomplished largely below the radar while the press focus has been on more sensational subjects, such as House Speaker Paul Ryan’s declaration Tuesday morning that releasing the FISA memo could help “cleanse” the FBI because disclosure of the suspected surveillance abuses is “the best disinfectant,” according to Fox News. |

For 2018, Samson Manufacturing is making the popular Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield easier to shoot than ever, thanks to its all-new Pocket Comp design. Newton's Third Law, "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction," is inescapable, and the less mass there is in a 9 mm carry pistol, the more shooters will feel the energy from that shot. Fortunately, the firearm industry develops ways to mitigate that felt recoil in compact-sized carry guns, and the Samson Manufacturing Pocket Comp is the latest innovation designed to manage the snappy Shield handgun.
